1. Overview & Acceptance of Agreement

This website is operated by GearOrb. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to GearOrb. GearOrb offers this website, including all information, tools, hardware products, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our store and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be legally bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).

2. Age Eligibility & Safety Responsibility

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction of residence).

You agree to wear ANSI-certified eye protection at all times during operation, ensure a safe downrange zone, and never aim or discharge projectiles toward persons, domestic animals, protected wildlife, or public property.

3. Local Jurisdictional Compliance & Legal Ownership

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ascertain, understand, and comply with all applicable local, municipal, state, provincial, and national laws regarding the acquisition, importation, possession, and carry of slingshots and related mechanical shooting equipment.

By placing an order, you certify that the items ordered can be lawfully imported, possessed, and used in your destination municipality. GearOrb shall not be liable for items delayed, held, or confiscated by customs or law enforcement agencies due to local regulatory restrictions.

4. Product Specifications & Modifications

We strive for exact mechanical representation of our CNC aerospace aluminum gear, dimensions, anodized finishes, and tolerances (±0.01mm). However:

• Minor aesthetic finish variations may occur due to industrial anodizing bath pigmentation.
• Any unauthorized alteration, structural machining, drilling, or extreme over-stretching of band tension voids all manufacturer warranties and constitutes a forfeiture of liability claims against GearOrb.
• Only ferrous magnetic steel balls (recommended 8mm or 9mm) are supported by our internal quick-feed magazine mechanism.

5. Limitation of Liability & Hold Harmless

In no event shall GearOrb, its directors, officers, engineers, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind, including without limitation lost profits, bodily harm, property damage, or elastic band snapback injury arising from the misuse, neglect, or improper handling of our products.

You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to safely use, the products purchased from GearOrb is at your sole risk.

6. Intellectual Property Protection

All trademarks, industrial designs, CAD structural blueprints, auto-feed magazine mechanisms, photography, liquid frontend layouts, and documentation displayed on this website are the proprietary intellectual property of GearOrb. Unauthorized reproduction, reverse-engineering, commercial distribution, or copying of our CNC designs is strictly prohibited and subject to international IP enforcement.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you goods or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with international commercial legal standards and the applicable laws governing commercial business operations under our corporate registration.
